I will often be in conversations with Realtors and we will be talking about the benefits of our company and what we do and inevitably the conversation will drift towards the comparison of the standard 360 slide show to promote listings vs HD Video, which is a big part of our business and what value a Video will bring to selling their listing? This is a great question, if you have a good set of pictures and a half decent slide show why do you need HD video?
Here are a few good reasons to include HD video in your Marketing promotion:
1. We are video junkie nation! Internet usage has more than doubled in the last ten years (source http://www.internetworldstats.com/am/ca.htm) For the first time, Canadians as a whole are spending more time online than watching TV, and video content is playing a big part in what people are consuming (source http://www.newslab.ca/?p=328)
2. Video creates a better end user experience and whether you are an investor, property manager or realtor, it is a more effective lead generation tool than traditional types of media such as newspaper and flyers, because it creates a forum for immediate discussion and feedback. (source www.forrent.com http://propertyadguru.com/2009/09/using-video-increases-leads/)
The simple fact is that Video promotion is not the future, it is the now and Realtors can't afford to get left behind.
PowerHouseHD is here to help Realtors get the most out of their online promotion initiatives, so please don't hesitate to give me a call about any of this information.

We are very excited about 2011!
I have been reading a lot of literature recently coming out of the Real Estate world and i think most of the news is very positive right now. We are in the process of planning and goal setting for the new year. I really love January i think that it is by far the best time to collect your thoughts, build strategies and set goals. I have talked to a few agents over the last couple of days and I see a pattern emerging in what they are telling me! Realtors want something "new" they want to improve their overall online marketing strategy but they are simply not sure where to start? So here are a few questions that need answering before you can move forward:
1. Where you are currently spending your Marketing dollars and how effective is that Marketing ?
2. From which sources is your business coming from, open houses, referrals, lead generation websites etc?
3. What is your Marketing strategy for the next year? Are you trying to penetrate a new target market or improve your service in your current target market?
4. Do you have the interest, knowledge and time to be taking care of all the online Marketing? If no then maybe you should be outsourcing these tasks?
Once you have answered these questions you will be in a better position to wow your clients with focused marketing efforts. If you have any questions about any of this information please contact me at Fabby@PowerHouseHD.com and have yourself a fantastic January.
